ASC 842 schedules, journal entries, and disclosures in 10 minutes.

Lease and fixed-asset accounting for companies too small for enterprise software. No per-lease pricing, no sales call, no spreadsheet that breaks at audit.

Built for companies with 1–15 leases and the accountants who close their books.

Three things your auditor will notice.

Every number explains itself.

Click any figure in a schedule and see the inputs and the formula behind it — the thing your auditor actually asks for.

Modifications handled, not hacked.

Remeasurements, extensions, and terminations create a new version with a clean roll-forward. Nothing is overwritten.

Disclosure pack in one click.

Maturity analysis, weighted-average term and rate, cash paid, ROU assets obtained — formatted for the footnote.

How it works

  1. Enter the lease once.

Dates, payments, escalations, discount rate (risk-free election supported), incentives, initial direct costs.

  2. Review the classification and schedules.

The five tests in ASC 842-10-25-2, then liability and ROU schedules for every period.

  3. Export entries and the audit pack.

Monthly journal entries mapped to your chart of accounts, plus the disclosure tables, to Excel or PDF.

Why trust the numbers

Crossfoot was built by someone who adopted ASC 842 the hard way — more than once, in spreadsheets that stopped being trustworthy by year two.

Every calculation is validated against a published library of worked examples drawn from the standard and Big 4 guidance. The test count is public and grows with every release, and the calculation specification is written so a CPA can review it without reading code.

Your data stays yours. Export everything, any time, and delete on request.

Not ready to commit? Start with the free calculator.

A single-lease Excel calculator: operating or finance, classification tests, the full schedule, journal entries for the whole term, and built-in checks that tell you when something doesn't tie.

It uses the same layout as the Crossfoot import template, so upgrading later is a file upload.

Check your inbox. The calculator is on its way. If it doesn't arrive in a few minutes, download it here.

Questions

Is this for lessors?

No — lessee accounting only.

Does it handle tax depreciation or IFRS 16?

Not yet. US GAAP, lessee, book accounting. IFRS 16 is on the roadmap if customers ask for it.

Can my auditor see how the numbers are calculated?

Yes. Every schedule has an explain-the-number view, and the calculation specification is published.

What about fixed assets?

It's the second module, included in the founder bundle. Founder customers get first access and founder pricing on it.

What happens to my pre-order if the product changes?

It's refundable in full until launch. After launch, founder pricing is locked for as long as you keep the subscription.
